ACER LIQUID E2, LIQUID REFRESHMENT FOR THE ANDROID MARKET

SYNAPSE CIRCUIT:
ACER LIQUID E2 COMING TO THE ULTRAFAST THREE NETWORK SOON...

Good afternoon, Synapse Circuit Readers! Today marks the start of the Wimbledon tennis championship and typically of London it is cold – colder than usual! I hope you have all had wonderful weekends. I enjoyed a good rest from being a slave to my Tech-Blogs! Lol! Good news for Acer fans...

...THE LIQUID E2 IS ON IT’S WAY!
Today Three announces that the Acer Liquid E2 will be available soon on its Ultrafast network with all-you-can-eat-data. Three’s Ultrafast network is supported by DC-HSDPA technology and covers more than 80 per cent of the UK population, with 4G LTE coming later this year.

Sylvia Chind, Head of Devices at Three said, “The E2 has a premium finish design with dual speakers enhanced by DTS Studio Sound™ so you’ll be able to enjoy streaming the latest music videos on our Ultrafast network in amazing lifelike audio quality”.
The Acer Liquid E2 boasts an 8MP HD camera with an instant shutter key so there’s no delay when capturing those magical moments. The camera also adapts to all light levels and includes a ‘beautification’ mode and range of filters to ensure images are great every time and perfect for sharing on social networks.

In addition, the Acer Liquid E2’s large 4.5” crystal clear display is ideal for playing the latest Angry Birds game or simply browsing the mobile internet. Plus, the Liquid E2’s quad-core processor means that people can run an array of their favourite apps at the same time, without being slowed down.

Key features:

Fast 8MP camera with instant shutter and HD video.
Dual stereo speakers with DTS Studio Sound™.
Large 4.5-inch display.
Ultra powerful meets Ultrafast

ANDROID LOVE
This is what I absolutely love about Android... Every other day is one of excitement... C’mon, you know why... Every other day we get to hear of an Android device coming to the marketplace be it a phone, phablet, tablet or whatever... It’s always a joy to see new devices coming to the market using the Android operating system. I honestly think that – at the moment – it is Android that is being creative with handset designs and features. Android just makes a mockery of Apple’s “Hand Science”. Lol! There’s an Android for every hand! Anyhoo...

The Liquid E2 looks like a winning device that ought to go down a storm as it appears to be aiming at the midrange market. There is no telling on how much it’ll cost on a monthly contract or PAYG. I would hazard a guess at around £20 or less on a monthly contract. But don’t take my guess as gospel!

The dual DTS speakers is kinda like that HTC is offering with their popular One handset and I think the midrange market is has been crying out for some innovations at that level; most innovations come with the premium handsets.

More spec includes a quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 with expandable storage via microSD, up to 32GB. Plus internal 4GB, 1GB RAM = pretty darn good! Such spec reminds me of the Motorola RAZRi which has come down in price recently.

Ah, another thing... It has a 2MP front-facing camera too! Nothing like being able to use those video calling apps! Great stuff!

Hey, if the price is right I might just trade in my HTC Desire that can barely store decent applications! Yes, I am a little phone crazy! Lol! But these things do come in handy for a multitude of uses! Mom’s the word!

Oh, one more thing... This version of the Liquid E2 coming to the UK does not appear to have dual SIM capability.

I hope to bring you a review very soon!

What do you reckon?
